Synopsis:

The film tells an untold story: that of Tommaso da Celano, a figure who lived between 1190 and 1265. A friar and a man of letters, he is remembered as the first biographer of Saint Francis of Assisi. He was able to capture the essence of the poverty and humility that Francis embodied, conveying not only the events of his life but also the profound impact he had on the society of his time. Tommaso exalted the figure of a man who revolutionized spirituality, casting an eternal light on a path of Faith and Love. He is also renowned as the author of the liturgical sequence “Dies Irae.”
